About National Panchayat Portal
National Panchayat Portal (NPP) is one of the applications developed as part of Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) under e- Panchayat Mission Mode Project. It is designed to be a versatile front- end of Local self governments, which facilitates seamless access to the information & services provided by the local body.
NPP is being used to generate and maintain dynamic websites for panchayats in the country which includes District Panchayats, Intermediate Panchayats, Village Panchayats and Traditional Local Bodies. Besides this, NPP creates dynamic websites for State Panchayati Raj Departments and Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR). The URL for MoPR is (http://panchayat.gov.in) and the URL for accessing NPP is http://panchayatportals.gov.in.
Each panchayat can configure their website to be accessed using a URL of their choice and contribute content.

Acts as a window to information & services - Panchayats could provide information & service to the public online. All Panchayat-specific, citizen-centric reports generated by other PES applications automatically get displayed here.
Supports Integration - Users and administrators may integrate content and services from backend or legacy applications. Supports multiple methods to integrate, including SOAP, REST, RSS, as well as propriety API's.
Offers a fast, responsive interface - interfaces available in NPP are extremely east and enjoyable to use for everyone. Typically time-consuming tasks such as altering a page layout, adding new applications and content, and changing look and feel can all be done in a couple of clicks without ever refreshing the page.
